Revered saint ‘Brahmrishi Guruvanad’ coming to New Zealand

One of India’s greatest saints, philosopher and a spiritual masters Vishwasant Brahmrishi Guruvanad, also fondly called Guruvanad Swami, is once again coming to bless his ardent devotees in Fiji, Australia and here in New Zealand.

Shri Guruvanand ji has visited these countries in the past many times for the spiritual enlightenment of his devotees. Gurudev’s devotees consider him a divine incarnate who has come on earth to awaken their souls. Brahmrishi Guruvanand ji is a divine spiritual master par excellence, he is the embodiment of Sat (divine existence), Chit (consciousness) and Anand (bliss).

He was born on 12 January 1941 in India. The Divinity that entered the immaculate sanctified human embryo was destined to become the Divine Guru with the mission of imparting saving knowledge to all humanity. His spiritual journey began at very tender age when his spiritual mentor, Yogiraj Devaraha Baba saved his life from terminal illness. Baba took this child under his wings and nurtured him to supreme health and raised him with utmost care. Gurudev has excelled academically also.

He graduated with B.Sc. (Honours) in Physics, B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering from the highly reputed institute, IIT (Kharagpur, India) followed with MA in Sanskrit, Vedas and Jyotish and PhD in Astrology. Further to his qualifications and achievements, he has participated in many international conferences including the “All Religion World Conference” where he was conferred with “The Best Personality” and “Gold Medal”.

He has also been conferred Jyotish Murmagya award by German Astrological Society. He has also been the Honorary Principal and Professor at various academic institutions including at Banaras Hindu University. A reputed scientist with the flavour of Spiritual upliftment from childhood was highly influenced by Swami Vivekananda and the teachings of Lord Mahavira. Gurudev has awakened the Kundalini Shakti (primal energy coiled and located at the base of spine) resulting in acquiring of a range of Siddhis (Divine powers) and Spiritual Enlightenment.

Today, Scientist turned Saintist is known as highly evolved Spiritual Master imbued with tremendous power, is a unique Divine Gift to humanity in the modern age of spiritual turmoil and tussle. He is the embodiment of Love and Compassion, coupled with Humility and Simplicity, thus making him one of the most revered living saints in the current era. He has the deep and practical understanding of the Vedas, the Bhagavad Gita, Astrology and other spiritual scriptures from Jainism, Sikhism, Christianity, Buddhism, and Islam. He has the unique capacity to impart a deep spiritual message in layman’s language that people can translate into their daily lives.

In last 45 years Gurudev has travelled around the world covering 172 countries, helping the masses in raising human consciousness to the Supreme Consciousness through the path of Divine Love and Service to Society. He strongly advocates that “Religion does not bind us, but rather frees us from all bondage of Karma (Deeds)”.

During his New Zealand visit Gurudev will have two public discourses, first one being at Shri Ram Mandir in Henderson on 29 February from 3.00 pm am next day at the Bharatiya Mandir on 1 March from 3 pm onward.
