Ongoing war against the Indian nation!

The political situation in India is getting volatile with every passing day and this situation is even worse in the non-BJP ruled states. In some states like West Bengal, Maharashtra, Telangana, Kerala, Tamil Nādu and now in Punjab, this is almost getting out of control. The confrontation with the centre is getting uglier and its becoming order of the day. Most of the opposition ruled states grabbed power by luring the voters offering unrealistic freebies which has now resulted in shape of a big burden on the exchequer of massive debts in all these states. Punjab’s newly elected Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann sought an audience with Prime Minister Narendra Modi last month, asking him for a 100k crore rupees funds to fulfil the promises his party made to its voters. This is insane, how can some political parties be so irresponsible and reckless. They make false promises to people, fully knowing that they have no money to fulfil their promises.

This is a very dangerous and worrying trend in Indian politics, leaving no scope for sanity and fairness in democratic system of country. Its time, central government, judiciary, and the election commission together address this issue really urgently. This is against the basic principals of a fair democracy where voters are being lured, election after elections, by putting an unnecessary burden on the law-abiding taxpayers of the country. Offering freebies is nothing but simply bribing the gullible voters to win elections which is illegal. The worst thing about this ‘bribing the voter’ completion is that those making these false promises have no accountability towards their voters. Law agencies, executive and judiciary need to make strict laws to stop political parties from offering freebies during election campaigns. Since the intention of such parties is not the welfare of people but gaining control of power for their own vested interests. All such parties are involved deep neck in corruption and start looting public money as soon as they take control by forming government.

One very unfortunate situation that has developed in past 7-8 years’ time is that this confrontation is no more confined between centre and the states. The opposition to everything that comes from centre by such states is crossing all the limits of laid provisions of constitutional federal governance. Some states are even happy to go against the Indian nation if their unreasonable demands are not met. Basic courtesies and protocols are also being regularly flouted in their bid to oppose the government at the centre for everything. Some of the states are not scared or ashamed of taking help from even India’s enemy countries to create disturbance in the country, on some pretext or other. A lot of such anti-India forces now find solace in the opposition party ruled states; hence we see those frequently happening riots, stone pelting, and violence in different parts of India. All these disturbances are being jointly contributed by our political parties, religious fundamentalists, and anti-India forces together. This has now become very consistent and the government at the centre needs to take a very stern action against these enemies of the nation.

The reason why suddenly, these anti-national forces have become so noisy and aggressive is that the government at the centre was patiently gathering all information about them for quite some time and has now started acting against them. These anti-people, anti-India forces were so confident of their modus-operandi that they never imagined they could ever be checked from doing what they wanted to do. Now when they see their nefarious designs getting busted one after other by a very determined government, they have no option left except creating violence and mayhem all over the country. By resorting to violent ways, these forces are again making mistake of underestimating the immense power a government carries. Its time, these anti-India forces do the reality check and immediately stop all the illegal, unethical, and anti-national activities and support the government in the nation building by contributing in a positive manner. - Yugal Parashar
