Mainstream media’s bias exposed once again
The Indian News would like to point out to its readers that our views and opinion about the biases of the mainstream New Zealand media against India and its majority community, have once again proved to be true. In an article published on 27th September in The New Zealand Herald, the same staff reporter has once again tried to twist the facts and change the whole narrative to exactly the opposite of the true facts. Once again, this reporter’s hard-core anti-India stance and her bias against India’s majority population Hindus, is evident quite clearly. She has tried to paint the entire Hindu community as a bunch of far-right wing extremists. This reporter seriously needs to take a few lessons about ‘extremism’ before try using such terms against the Hindu community.
The writer is not shying away from labelling a common Hindu as a ‘hardcore right winger’ if any Indian or Hindu tries to protest or to defend the malicious and false propaganda against them. Once again, this left leaning gang’s trickery is at its best. The real culprits, who were trying to paint a peaceful Hindu community as extremists have suddenly started playing the victim card. They were aware of the consequences when they spewed the venom against Hindu community, in fact this was the very intent of these so-called messiahs of ‘free speech’. So, if they are now getting trolled on social media by the ‘people with a mind’ for spreading lies, they still have the audacity to play the victim card also. As mentioned in my previous write up that in New Zealand there is a very deep-rooted nexus of these hard core left leaning anti-India, anti-BJP, and anti-Modi forces. These forces have their presence in almost every sphere of our society whether its media, education or in politics. These forces strongly believe that world should accept everything the way they present to them. If you speak up against their nefarious designs or the false narratives, they paint you as ‘far right winger extremists’ etc. The ‘hard core left leaning’ members of this gang are very smart in creating fictitious and false stories about Indian state and hiding the truth very cleverly. This is what these thugs did in India for 70 years by creating false version of Indian history and twisting it completely. They never substantiate their false narratives or allegations with any evidence since they don’t have one. Unfortunately, they have a sizable presence in mainstream media world over and hold key positions, so it becomes quite smooth for them to run their agenda.
As wrote earlier, since the current Indian government has closed shops for such lie spreaders in India, they now have started targeting the majority community of India in overseas. Most Indians, especially those living in foreign countries are quite passionately nationalist and since there is a nationalist government in power in India, they resonate with the present government very well. This has nothing to do with Hinduism or any religious identity. There are countless other non-Hindus who echo the similar sentiments for their motherland whether they support the government or not. This very idea of ‘nationalism’ goes against the basic leftist’s ideology hence they constantly keep conspiring against the Indian nation. The New Zealand government needs to keep a vigil on these forces, who under the garb of ‘free speech’ are spreading hatred against a particular community. This is also against the basic fabric of this otherwise peaceful nation. The government should take a stern step to stop any repeat of such hateful and malicious activities happening in the places of academics. How can a civilised society even allow such an anti-social pursuit to happen.
I am still of the view that the peaceful Hindu community need not to fear such fringe elements who don’t have guts to face the truth. They only believe in hit and run away and if ever caught red handed like this time by the Hindu community collectively, then start playing the victim card like they are doing now. I hope that the Indian community will continue doing the good work as always and not get deterred by the hoaxers and bullies like these. -Yugal Parashar, Editor of The Indian News NZ
