Domestic flights resume in India amid safety measures

On May 25, India’s domestic air travel resumed, as long queues and chaos greeted passengers at airports with cancellations of almost 100 flights. This so, as Maharashtra state, which has India's highest number of Covid-19 cases, said it would only allow 50 flights a day. The resumption of air travel happened two months after it was halted to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
